Natural Bridge State Resort Park is beside the Red River Geological area, which is part of the much large Daniel Boone National Forest. Natural Bridge is the main feature in the park, and the first site many visitors think of when considering a visit to the area. The restaurant, lodging, and campsites make it a fabulous getaway (especially for families.) Some of the restrictions such as the prohibition of dogs make the park less attractive an option for some guests who prefer to stay in the Red River Geological Area and the Daniel Boone National Forest. If you only have a short amount of time in the area consider a quick hike up to natural bridge.
